How does the AI transcription work?
We use Google's Gemini Flash AI to analyze the audio from your uploaded videos, automatically generating highly accurate Japanese transcripts and separating the dialogue by speaker.
Can I upload any YouTube video?
Currently, you can upload videos up to 50MB directly, or paste a YouTube URL. Some music videos or highly complex audio might have lower transcription accuracy.
How is my pronunciation graded?
When you use the Shadowing feature, your microphone input is analyzed against the target native audio. The system compares pitch, timing, and phonetic accuracy to give you a score from 0 to 100.
Is the generated content always correct?
While Gemini AI is incredibly powerful, it might make occasional mistakes with rare Kanji readings (Names/Places). You can manually edit the transcript within the practice workspace.
